Muriel Mallows works from her home in Oxford, having originally trained at the City & Guilds of London Art School. She has exhibited widely throughout her long career and her work is a
mainstay of the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy. She is inspired by life, her family, her friends and the things around her that make up everyday life.
Muriel’s notebooks with studies spanning fifty years and three
generations of family life will ensure that her work will be
appreciated for years to come. I am delighted to be showing this
new collection of work where she has concentrated largely on
intimate still lifes and domestic scenes.
